Saba Power and Water Industries Investment Company was registered on February 5, 1992 (1370/11/16), under the name Satkab Investment Company (Private Joint-Stock) and registration number 88404 at the Tehran Companies and Industrial Property Registration Office, with the objective of investing in the country's power and water industries.
In 2004 (1382), pursuant to the minutes of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders dated March 10, 2004 (1382/12/20), the company's name was changed to Saba Power and Water Industries Investment Company (Private Joint-Stock); subsequently, in 2004 (1383), based on the minutes of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders dated June 19, 2004 (1383/03/30), the company was converted from a private joint-stock company to a public joint-stock company.
On September 10, 2011 (1390/06/19), the company was listed under number 10903 in the registry of companies maintained by the Securities and Exchange Organization as a non-listed issuer.
